Club Welfare Officer
Medway Towns Rowing Club wishes all it's members and visitors to enjoy their rowing. The Club Welfare Officer is responsible for ensuring that all members, and especially those who are juniors or vulnerable, are protected from harm arising from the actions of other people. All members who have significant interaction with juniors are required to have CRB clearance. If you feel in any way unsafe, bullied, threatened or abused, or have concerns about the behaviour of anyone towards a junior or vulnerable adult, please contact Fran, whose contact details are on the Committee Notice board in the Clubhouse. The Club has obtained Sport England Clubmark and therefore applies all practices and codes of conduct that the accreditation requires with regard to junior members In addition, with regard to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, the Club has adopted and endorses the policies of its National Governing Body, British Rowing.
