ARA Volunteer of the Year Award

Regional Winner 2008

Our President, Bob Kemlo, has been awarded the ARA Volunteer of the Year Award for 2008. Bob will be presented with his award at a reception at the ARA's National Championships to be held at the Holme Pierpoint, National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham on Saturday 19th July. Di Ellis, the ARA Chairman, will present the certificates in recognition of the contributions made by all the regional winners.  Following the presentation a National Winner will be announced.

This is a very well deserved award for Bob in recognition of the time he spends at the Club with introducing novices, coaching, repairing boats, helping with the boathouse, organising events and for countless other chores that go unnoticed.  All of the members of MTRC are united in extending their congratulations to Bob.
