Sudbury Regatta - 2011
IM2 Double Scull Shaun Martin and Michael Russell beat Maidstone by 1 foot in a straight final. They are pictured above having received their prizes from the Mayor of Sudbury
Eight - Masters D The crew beat Sudbury in the semi final. In the final against Maidstone they eased into a half length lead until unfortunately one of the crew came off his seat. In a sprint race, recovery it is not possible and unfortunately the crew lost by half a length.
Quadruple Scull - Masters D Straight final against Bewl Bridge Masters E. Could never quite pull back the handicap.
Novice Scull Mike Smith went well but lost his heat to the winner of the event. |
